Dufour Cup & Owners Rally – 2024
June 28th to 30th

Celebrate 60 Years of Dufour Yachts at our inaugural Dufour Cup and Owners Rally.

After a fun day on the water meet up with other owners and their families for a BBQ dinner at the Island Sailing Club in Cowes.

This light hearted event offers something for everyone and is a wonderful chance to connect with fellow Dufour owners, reconnect with the team from Universal Yachting, and enjoy a weekend away with like-minded individuals.

The plan so far:

Friday Evening:

Ease into the weekend with an informal gathering and welcome drinks at our offices in Mercury Yacht Harbour. Then take your choice of variety of restaurants for dinner either here at Mercury or in Hamble village itself.

Saturday Morning:

On Saturday morning, we set off for a fun pursuit race around the Solent. With the slower boats going first we are aiming for roughly a 3 hour race and hopefully if we have worked out our starting sequence correctly everyone will finish together !!!! In reality it will just be a good excuse to have some fun, enjoy some light hearted competition and to see how good your helming and sail trimming skills are.

We have reserved berths at Cowes Yacht Haven for Saturday evening and there will plenty of time to explore Cowes before meeting up at the Island Sailing Club for early evening drinks.

Saturday Evening:

We are booked in at the Island Sailing Club terrace for one of their legendary BBQ’s so everyone can get together, relax and swap stories from the day. The prize-giving ceremony promises recognition for outstanding performances as well as the overall winner of the Dufour Cup.

Sunday Morning:

Bid farewell to Cowes with a leisurely Sunday morning sail back to your home berths at your own pace.
