Dufour 470 Spring 2025 Delivery
Our final opportunity to secure a Dufour 470 for spring 2025. Following strong demand and the overwhelming success of the Dufour 470 since its launch in 2021, all initial production slots have been filled. However, due to the early sell-out of the new Dufour 48, Dufour has now added a limited final run of just five additional 470s to the production schedule.
With a 15% discount on the base price and 15% off all factory-fitted options, this is an exceptional opportunity to enjoy significant savings — a typical specification delivers over €76,000 in savings.
Scheduled to leave the factory in early spring, you can have a 470 configured how you would like it and ready for handover in time for the 2025 sailing season. Whether you plan to sail in UK waters or further afield, delivery and commissioning can be tailored to your needs. For those wishing to sail in the Mediterranean, we can arrange delivery directly to your destination, helping you take advantage of VAT-free sailing.

Dufour 470 Forward Orders Available in Smart Electric for Spring 2025
Dufour's new Smart Electric system offers a completely new sailing experience for cruising yachts. It integrates a powerful electric drive pod, diesel generator, hydro generation, and a lithium-ion phosphate battery bank to deliver a level of autonomy never seen before in the cruising market. While using pure electric drive, you can enjoy noise and vibration-free motoring for up to 35 miles at cruising speed.
If you need to travel further under motor, you have the option to revert to running a quieter, more efficient diesel generator to directly power the electric drive offering 15% more range over a traditional diesel-engined yacht. Planning a long distance passage under sail? Utilise wind, solar, and hydro generation to power the battery bank and eliminate the need for fossil fuels all together offering unprecedented range and autonomy.
Key Features:
Silent Mode: Motor for approximately 30-35 miles in complete silence using pure electric drive mode running directly from the battery bank.
Hybrid Mode: Run with the diesel generator directly powering the electric motor whilst simultaneously charging the battery bank, providing up to 15% additional range compared to a traditional diesel engine yacht.
Hydro Generation: Charge the battery bank while under sail using the electric motor, providing the option of complete autonomy.
Safety: Gain more ability to power the vessel to return to port, whether sailing, in hybrid drive or pure electric drive mode.
Passage Speed Boost: Use the electric motor under sail with a smaller amount of power to 'motor sail' silently and boost passage speed for up to 12 hours in light wind conditions.
Power On Board: With high-capacity Lithium-Ion phosphate batteries, you can run the boat systems for up to 24 hours without needing shore power or a diesel generator. For example, air conditioning can run all night in complete silence while at anchor.
Ease of Use: The completely automated system activates the generator automatically when the batteries require topping up.
Low Maintenance: With only three moving parts within the electric drive system, maintenance is kept to a minimum. The cost of servicing the generator is lower than that of a traditional diesel engine. Batteries are guaranteed for 10 years. Parts within the system are plug and play, so they can be easily replaced if required. Remote fault tracing and troubleshooting are available anywhere with an internet connection.
Sustainability: The ability to incorporate solar, hydro generation, and wind generation into the onboard battery bank creates a more sustainable boating experience.
Low-Stress Mooring: Instant torque delivery coupled with a large single rudder provides ease of handling in close quarters manoeuvres.
